Definitions

'Commercial Agreement': agreement between AIR FRANCE and a Member Company whose purpose is to define the travel fare conditions applicable to the Member Company's staff traveling on AIR FRANCE routes

'Administrator': a member of staff designated by the Member Company to manage the VoyageurREWARDS account in the name of and on behalf of Member Company.

'AIR FRANCE': Société AIR FRANCE, a limited liability company with a capital of 1,901,231,625 euros, incorporated under the laws of France, having its registered office at 45, rue de Paris, F-95747 Roissy CDG Cedex, France, and registered with the Bobigny Company and Trade Register under number 420 495 178.

'Travel Agencies': travel agencies situated in the Country where Member Company is registered.

'Ticket': plane tickets allowing the Member Company to earn Points in accordance with the terms and conditions set down in article 3 below.

'General Terms and Conditions': the general terms and conditions defined herein.

'Website Award Engine': online booking engine for booking VoyageurREWARDS Awards.

'Enrolment Country': e.g. United States

'Points': points earned by the Member Company within the VoyageurREWARDS program in accordance with the terms and conditions set down in article 3 below.

'Awards': airline tickets and upgrades obtained by redeeming Points earned within the framework of the program in accordance with the procedures set forth in article 4 below.

'Award ticket': air tickets obtained for the benefit of Eligible Members by redeeming Points earned by the Member Company in accordance with the terms and conditions set down in article 4 below.

'Award Upgrade': upgrades obtained for the benefit of Eligible Members by redeeming Points earned by the Member Company in accordance with the terms and conditions set down in article 4 below.

'Customer reference': VoyageurREWARDS account number created by AIR FRANCE and forwarded to Member Company once its membership has been approved. This reference shall be used for all Tickets issued on behalf of the Member Company.

'Site': airfrance.com/us website

'Member Company': Company having chosen to participate in the VoyageurREWARDS program and who fulfils the required conditions set down by AIR FRANCE.

'Eligible Members': permanent employees of the Member Company who accrue Points for the latter when they travel on business.

1. Purpose

1.1. 'VoyageurREWARDS' is a loyalty program designed for companies, the aim of which is to allocate Points to Member Companies in accordance with a scale available on the website and in compliance with the terms, conditions and limitations described below, for each flight made by Eligible Members with a designated AIR FRANCE flight number issued on AIR FRANCE ticket stock (Code 057).

1.2. VoyageurREWARDS is a program exclusive to the Internet. A Member Company having chosen to participate in the program must send an email address to AIR FRANCE so as to ensure the proper use of all the functionalities offered within the framework of VoyageurREWARDS.

1.3. According to the number of Points earned and accumulated by Member Company, the latter may obtain Awards: air tickets and upgrades in compliance with the terms and conditions described in article 4.

1.4. These General Terms and Conditions define the contractual relationship between the Member Company and AIR FRANCE, hereafter referred to individually and/or collectively as the “Party” or “Parties” within the VoyageurREWARDS Program.

The Agreement becomes effective upon AIR FRANCE´s acceptance of a company´s membership, hereafter referred to as “Agreement”. The provisions in the Agreement reflect the Parties´ full agreement of the terms governing the VoyageurREWARDS Program.

They supersede all other proposals or exchange of written communication between the Parties prior to signing the Agreement.

2. VoyageurREWARDS membership

2.1. All companies having their registered office and beneficiary establishments in the Enrolment Country and that have not signed (and/or that are not negotiating the terms of or presently concluding) a Commercial Agreement with AIR FRANCE, are eligible to participate in the VoyageurREWARDS program.

Should the Member Company conclude a Commercial Agreement with AIR FRANCE, the parties shall agree that the Contract would expire automatically on the day the Commercial Agreement comes into force and effect. In this situation, the Member Company could use the Points earned within the VoyageurREWARDS program for a duration of eight (8) months with effect from the date of expiry of the Contract.

Travel agents, tour wholesalers, consolidators and other travel resellers are not eligible to become members of the VoyageurREWARDS program.

2.2. Any company wishing to participate in the VoyageurREWARDS program and fulfilling the required conditions must have a membership application form available on the website completed by an employee duly designated to represent the Member Company by acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions. Any member of staff having completed the membership application form certifies to have been officially designated to represent aforementioned Company.

All Companies having completed and submitted the membership application form are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the General Terms and Conditions. Upon acceptance by AIR FRANCE of the Member Company´s membership, the latter shall receive an email containing an ID and password for secure access to a dedicated site.

A Member Company shall only sign and submit one membership application and the Member Company shall only be authorized to maintain one account.

2.3. The Member Company designates a program administrator hereafter referred to as "Administrator" when completing the membership application. This person manages the VoyageurREWARDS account in the name of and on behalf of the Member Company. The designation of the program administrator´s email address at the Member Company is mandatory. Member Company shall inform AIR FRANCE without delay of any change in the designation of the Program Administrator, address, email or other necessary details pertaining to the account managed by AIR FRANCE by completing the data modification form available on the Site, by writing to or emailing the address indicated below in article 6. Program Administrator is responsible for verification of the number of tickets taken into account by AIR FRANCE after the date of commencement of Program membership.

2.4. Member Company guarantees the accuracy of all information, particularly the data contained in the Membership Application, and bears sole responsibility for any incorrect, incomplete or obsolete information.

2.5. AIR FRANCE reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership for any Company that does not meet the membership criteria for participation in the VoyageurREWARDS program or comply with the General Terms and Conditions.

2.6. All Member Companies shall receive an account to which its Points will be credited.

3. Conditions for obtaining Points

3.1. Conditions for obtaining Points

Member Company may earn Points starting from the date of validity of the Agreement

Points shall only be issued on flights with a designated AIR FRANCE flight number issued on AIR FRANCE ticket stock (057), purchased and issued in the Country where Member Company is registered and made by an Eligible Member, according to the scale in application on the date of the flight. This scale is available on the Site, and is determined in accordance with the fare paid for a given reservation class and destination and not according to the travel class used.

Points shall be credited once the trip has been made, subject to processing delays at AIR FRANCE.

Points may not be earned on special fares (seamen, offshores, ethnics, missionaries, etc.), group fare tickets, children´s tickets, infants tickets, travel agent tickets, tickets issued by consolidators and tour operators, prepaid tickets, companion tickets and promotional fares. Free tickets or Flying Blue Award tickets are not included in the VoyageurREWARDS program and do not entitle Members to accrue Points.

3.2. A Points summary will be available on the Site, accessible from a personal space thanks to an ID and password sent to the Account Administrator.

The Member Company´s account Administrator is responsible for his password and shall not disclose it to any third party.

3.3. Accrued Points are the property of Member Company.

3.4. Points remain valid for a period of two (2) full calendar years with effect from the date on which Points were credited to the account, notwithstanding termination of the Agreement under the conditions defined in article 5 below.

If, during the two (2) year period, Member Company has not earned any Points, AIR FRANCE shall automatically terminate the Contract by sending a written notice to Member Company. After the date of the written notice, no Point may be accrued by Member Company and the Points already credited to the Member Company´s account must be used within eight (8) months. Thereafter, all Points unused by that date shall be deemed forfeited and of no further value.

3.5. Points are not transferable and have no cash value. They may not be exchanged or refunded.

3.6. Member Company shall ensure that all Tickets issued on his behalf by Travel Agents indicate the Customer Reference. Failing this, the issued Tickets may not be automatically taken into account when calculating the earned Points.

3.7. Eligible Members may individually earn Flying Blue Miles on the same flights that they have also earned Points for on behalf of the Member Company.

4. Conditions for granting Awards

4.1. Request for Awards
Awards shall be requested by the Administrator:
- either using the Website Award Engine, for Award Tickets only,
- or using the Award application form available online to obtain Upgrades, which should be returned to the address indicated in article 6.
Awards proposed shall be subject to availability and whether the Member Company has a sufficient number of Points.
Awards shall only be issued for flights operated by AIR FRANCE with AIR FRANCE flight numbers.
Once issued, Points shall be used during their period of validity: the earliest Points credited and the first to expire shall be debited in priority.

4.2. Member Company may not obtain Awards by combining Points with other cash payments (cash, credit card, etc.).

Points cannot be combined with Flying Blue Miles to obtain Awards. Awards are not eligible for accumulation of Flying Blue Miles.
Awards are exclusively reserved for Eligible Members. An issued Award ticket is not transferable, may not be exchanged or refunded and has no cash value. The sale or exchange of Awards is strictly prohibited. Any Award transferred, sold or exchanged is null and void and cannot be returned or cancelled.

4.3. Once the Award has been issued, the Award is non refundable and non-transferable. Once the Award has been issued and prior to departure of the first flight, the Award may, subject to conditions, be modified to reflect a change in travel date or class, and is subject to availability and recalculation of the number of Points to apply. Moreover, Points may be deducted in cases of modification to an Award ticket. The scale of deductions applicable is available on airfrance.com/us.

All requests to change Awards must be made to the VoyageurREWARDS service at the latest 24 hours prior to departure. The details are indicated in article 6 below.

AIR FRANCE bears no liability in the event of loss or destruction of Awards.

4.4. Award tickets shall be exclusively issued as e-tickets. Award tickets obtained online on airfrance.com/us shall be reserved, issued and debited from the Member Company´s account when the Administrator validates the transaction.

4.5. An Award Upgrade shall be issued in accordance with AIR FRANCE upgrade terms and conditions available from the VoyageurREWARDS team, whose contact details are indicated in article 6 below. An Award Upgrade may only be issued on AF flights operated by AIR FRANCE only and concerning trips in the travel class immediately above the present one, the initial fare paid for the reservation class permitting.

5. Termination of Agreement

5.1. Either Party may by right terminate the Agreement by sending a written notice to the other Party by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt.

In the event of termination Member Company shall no longer be able to earn Points effective as of the date of notice, and shall have eight (8) months effective from the date of termination to use accrued Points.

5.2. Should Member Company not comply with the conditions defined in the General Terms and Conditions, use the name of the Administrator for fraudulent purposes or request tickets that do not fall within the scope of application for Eligible Members, AIR FRANCE may by right terminate at once the Agreement and cancel all Awards and Points earned by Member Company, without the latter claiming compensation for losses resulting from this termination or cancellation.

6. Confidentiality of information

All information relating to named individuals is collected and retained on file by AIR FRANCE in compliance with data protection regulations. In accordance with the French Personal Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the Administrator has the right to access and to rectify all personal data concerning the Member Company by writing to the address below:

7. Miscellaneous

7.1. Air France reserves the right to cancel or replace the VoyageurRewards program and may modify or make amendments to the program, General Terms and Conditions, Point accrual scale at any time. A Member Company may under no circumstances request compensation from Air France following specific modifications resulting from legislation applied within its own country. Any modifications to the General Terms and Conditions hereof shall be notify through VoyageurRewards communication. These General Terms and Conditions and all modifications hereof shall be considered approved if Member Company uses its VoyageurReward account, purchases a Ticket, requests or uses an Award or benefit offered within the program, or if no written complaint is made thirty(30) days after said notice. If a Member Company does not deem the modifications to the Program acceptable, the aforementioned may cancel its membership pursuant to article 5.1 above.


7.2. The Agreement, Points and Awards may under no circumstance be assigned, bequeathed or transferred whether or not for valuable consideration.


7.3. THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY FRENCH LAW. They govern the contractual relationship between the Parties. The Parties shall endeavour to reach an out-of-court settlement in the event of a dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of this Agreement. Failing an out-of-court settlement, and within one month of either Party receiving the written notice by registered mail, the dispute shall be brought before the Court of Commerce in Paris. No action, whatever its nature, grounds or terms of application, arising from the Agreement, may be instigated by the Parties later than one (1) year after the intervening cause.
