As a regular customer, you can look forward to additional Award Miles and dedicated benefits throughout your journey. And the more often you fly with us, the more chance we have to make you feel special. From Elite dedicated reservation services to check in counters, waiting list priority, access to airport lounges and bonus Miles on every SkyTeam flight, see how far you can go with Flying Blue.

All you have to do to qualify for Flying Blue Silver, Gold or Platinum membership, is collect the given number of Level Miles, and/or complete a set number of Level flight segments with any SkyTeam member. As soon as you reach the next threshold, your membership will be upgraded. Otherwise, your status is valid for one year, and revised annually.

Level Miles

Level Miles are the Miles that count toward your threshold for Elite membership.
You earn Level Miles :

when you fly with AIR FRANCE, KLM, Air Europa, or Kenya Airways, whatever the operating company,
when you fly on SkyTeam airlines operated flights,

The following Miles do not count as Level Miles:

Miles earned with other airline and non-airline partners
Promotional Miles and Elite bonus Miles

Please note that Domestic flights within Metropolitan France by residents in Metropolitan France earn Level Miles, but do not count as Level flight segments.

Membership threshold

Required thresholds for French and Monegasque residents

Your Level Miles and your Level Flights are valid until December 31 of the year they were issued. As soon as you reach the required threshold, you immediately obtain the corresponding Elite status and will receive a Silver, Gold or Platinum Elite card that is valid for a minimum of 1 year.

Your Level Miles account records the Level Miles you have earned. You can review your Level Miles balance in your Mileage summary. Your balance is reset to 0 on December 31.
Your Elite card is renewed, taking into account the Level Miles (or Level Flights) you accumulated during the calendar year preceding its expiration date.

For Platinum members: Level Miles carryover
Start the year with carryover Level Miles. All Miles above 115,000 Level Miles or 105 Level Flights* carry over to your Miles account for the following year.

* Except for the residents in Metropolitan France for whom the required amount is 150 000 Level Miles or 105 Flights segments.
