Since 1980, Aviation Without Borders (Aviation Sans Frontières), a fully independent and apolitical organization, has sought to deploy its aeronautical skills, professionalism and logistical resources on behalf of humanitarian causes, in Africa, Asia and throughout the world. This includes flying missions in remote disaster areas, providing transport for children needing emergency care, delivering medical and other humanitarian supplies, and holding aeronautical open days for disabled or socially isolated people.
