At the foot of Pic Paradis, the highest point on the island at 424 m above sea level, is a former sugar factory. Built in 1773, all activities ceased in 1855. Today it is a tropical jewel, where plant and animal species are carefully documented and protected.
To discover the indigenous species of the island, take the incredible rope course, suitable for young and old alike.
In the aftermath of hurricane Irma that severely hit Saint Martin and Loterie Farm in 2017, William Welch, the dynamic owner of Tree Lounge, completely renovated the place. No more corrugated iron roofs on the cabins and the restaurant: they have been rebuilt following eco-tourism principles, with cedar tiles, which are harmless and biodegradable, in the event another hurricane strikes. Music resonates once again in this oasis, where you will indulge in delicious cocktails, with your feet dipping in the water while gazing at the exceptional views over Pic Paradis! Imagine a multi-level spring water pool system of more than 500 sqm surrounded by nearly one acre of tropical greenery; all this welcomes you for a moment of pure relaxation and fun.
