Ideally located between Botafogo and Lagoa, this small and intimate restaurant gives out a particularly warm atmosphere. The second you enter, you will feel at ease as everything was devised for your enjoyment and comfort. Wooden tables have been elegantly decorated and prettified by the use of stoneware dishes, amid a dining room showcasing exposed stone walls.
Lighting is perfectly subdued, as it should be. As for the decoration itself, its sober nature is perfectly in keeping with the local country style.
Each dish is a work of art and every meal is being prepared using only fresh and local products, supplied by environmentally-friendly farmers.
For instance, try the grilled octopus served with small tomatoes, oysters with coconut milk from Brazil or a deliciously tender duck breast fillet. For dessert, the pineapple sherbet is particularly sweet and goes together well with its accompanying biscuits. A perfectly sweet ending note for an outstanding meal.
